Nature Walk: Bats - The Forgotten Pollinators
May the Fourth B with you (the B is for Bats)! Join Wild Ones and the Mission Trails Regional Park on an evening nature walk at Mission Trails to the Old Mission Dam. Kids will receive a free mini light saber to light their way on a short hike to learn about “the force” bats use to hunt their prey - echolocation - as well as the types of night-blooming native plants they help to pollinate.

Difficulty Level: The difficulty level of the trail is Medium due to some slight elevation changes, dirt areas, and low light conditions. All ages are welcome to participate!
Materials to Bring: This is an evening nature walk, so please prepare accordingly with comfortable clothing layers and shoes, bug protection, water, and snacks. While free mini lightsabers will be provided, it is recommended to bring an additional light source, such as a flashlight or headlamp.
