2009 California Special Districts Association Scholarship
The RCD is a member of the San Diego Chapter of the California Special Districts Association (CSDA). Special districts are a form of local government that serve a specific geographic area and generally provide one specific service. You’d be surprised at how much they do, and the career opportunities within them!
Each year, the CSDA San Diego Chapter sponsors several $1000 scholarships for graduating high school students. Applications are submitted to CSDA member agencies (such as the RCD). Member agencies review applications and send one finalist forward to compete regionally for the CSDA scholarships. The RCD is proud to have submitted winning finalists the last two years in a row.
- Submission Deadline: March 13, 2009
- Regional winners receive their scholarships at an Awards Dinner Ceremony in May
