2008 California Special Districts Association Scholarship
The RCD is a member of the San Diego Chapter of the California Special Districts Association (CSDA). Special districts are the unsung heroes of local government, and here is your chance to learn more about their work. You’ll be surprised at how much they do, and the career opportunities within them.
The CSDA San Diego Chapter is sponsoring a minimum of five (5) $1000 scholarships for graduating high school students. Applications will be reviewed by the RCD, and one finalist will be sent forward to compete regionally for the five scholarships. Last year (2007), our finalist Rebecca Webb of Coronado High School won one of the scholarships!
- Submission Deadline: Friday, March 14, 2008
- The RCD’s finalist will be notified by mail by mid-April.
- Regional winners will receive their scholarships at an Awards Dinner Ceremony on May 15, 2008.
